NFL Hall of Famer and Miami Dolphins Great Dwight Stephenson to Host Second Annual Norman Bonchick Memorial Golf Tournament Benefiting Broward Children’s Center on June 2 Putt for purpose! NFL Hall of Famer and Miami Dolphins great Dwight Stephenson will host the Second Annual Norman Bonchick Memorial Golf Tournament in support of Broward Children’s Centerat The Club at Weston Hills on Monday, June 2. The fundraising event will benefit Broward Children’s Center, a nonprofit organization that has been serving infants, children, and young adults with special needs since 1971. Pro-ceeds will support the Center’s crucial programs and medical, developmental, and thera-peutic services designed to meet the specific needs of infants, children and young adults who are developmentally disabled and medically fragile and their families. Stephenson will putt for a purpose along with celebrity friends. WPLG-ABC Channel 10 Sports Anchor Will Manso will be the master of ceremonies. Registration will begin at 7 a.m., where guests will enjoy breakfast provided by Howard’s Market. The scramble-style tournament will tee off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Along the course, golfers will have the opportunity to participate in fundraising activities and con-tests at various holes.

Today, longtime public servant, former Mayor of Broward County, and small business owner Dale Holness announced his campaign for Congress in Florida’s 20th District.  Holness begins the race with support from trusted prominent local leaders, including Broward County State Attorney Harold Pryor, Broward County Sheriff Gregory Tony, Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis, and Broward County Clerk of Courts Brenda Forman, who will join the campaign for a kick-off event on Tuesday evening.
