Art Prevails Project kicks off the summer with their captivating play ‘Seeking.’ This unique production weaves together the enchanting elements of music and magic, creating a spellbinding narrative that chronicles a young musician’s quest for independence. As he navigates an ever-changing world, he uncovers the profound influence of his family’s past on his future. Following its successful staged reading in 2022, ‘Seeking’ returns to the Amaturo Theatre at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts as a full production, promising an unforgettable experience.

     “We are delighted to collaborate with Blanche Ely High School in bringing a wider audience for the artwork of the tremendously talented young artists who grace our city,” said Ty Tabing, Director, Cultural Affairs Department. “Pompano Beach Arts values our community partnerships, and this one, demonstrating the deep well of talent of the young people involved, is particularly compelling as we look toward the future of the arts in our city, as well as in the world at large.”

The public is invited to step into a world where art transcends the ordinary and music sets us free. Surreal Harmonies: When Art Defies Boundaries is a visual symphony wherein the artist explores the extraordinary within the everyday. Using trompe- l’oeil techniques and incorporating abstract images of instruments into his work, Beauchamp blends the universal language of music with the vivid strokes of paintings

  Pompano Beach Arts was delighted to kick off a brand-new event, The Living Room Concert Series, in front of an appreciative crowd on October 12, 2023, with the soul-stirring, emotion-provoking, sonically pleasing fusion of jazz, funk, and soul sounds of The Harden Project, the core of which is singer/composer/author Ja’Nia Harden and musician/composer/arranger John Harden.

      Pompano Beach Arts is thrilled to bring incredible vocalist, fearless artist, and all-around creative powerhouse Courtney Mickens to the stage for the next Live and Local Concert.      Pompano Beach Arts is thrilled to welcome back musician Melton Mustafa Jr. to the Ali Cultural Arts Center as we celebrate Black Music Month. The grammy-nominated saxophone player will be performing with a group of outstanding musicians and will take audiences on a melodious journey through the history and impact of jazz. The evening will also feature the art of spoken word by renowned poet Eccentrich. This free performance will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023. Pompano Beach Arts is proud to announce Grammy-nominated bassist and composer Kirk Green will take the stage for the next installment of the Live and Local Concert Series at the Ali Cultural Arts Center. Live and Local showcases all genres, including rock & roll, hip-hop, grunge, reggae, blues, classic pop, alternative and more.      Pompano Beach Arts, in partnership with Black Cat Media, is proud to announce a new season of  Montage. The virtual film series returns with another outstanding selection of compelling stories created by emerging filmmakers. Join industry professionals and film lovers from around the globe who tune in to watch a film together and then participate in an insightful conversation. Montage airs the last Thursday of each month in February through September 2023. This series is thoughtfully curated and hosted by filmmaker and director Cathleen Dean of Black Cat Media.
