After over 7 years of fighting in Broward County, Florida courts, a jury deliberated more than four hours Monday, March 17th, and returned a verdict of fraud by Sator Investments, LLC, and conspiracy to commit fraud by Kevin Eutsey and Sator Investments, LLC. In addition, the jury cancelled the Elks Lodge deed held by Sator and Eutsey and quieted the deed, which returned the entire property at 712 N.W. 2nd Street in Fort Lauderdale back to the Elks Lodge 652 of the Improved Benevolent and Protective Order Elks of the World, Inc. I.B.P.C.E.W.

Marlene Williams, a trailblazing retired executive from Xerox International, has been elected as the board chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County for a two-year term. Williams, who made history as the first African American woman to serve as vice president of Graphic Arts in the Southeastern United States and Canada, brings her extensive international business experience and dedication to the non-profit organization. She has served on the board for seven years and is the first Black woman to hold the position of board chair.

Tamarac’s District 1 Commissioner, Marlon D. Bolton, was named Vice Mayor, following a vote by the City Commission. Bolton will serve in this capacity for a one-year term, while continuing his duties as Commissioner of District 1. Bolton was first elected to the Tamarac City Commission in November 2016. He was elected for a second term as District 1 Commissioner in November 2020.
