The HistoryMakers is pleased to announce that our 2022-2023 Digital Archive Student Ambassadors have been selected from a competitive pool of applicants. There are four chosen from four colleges and universities, three of which (Howard University, Spelman College, and Wellesley College) also have a 2022-2023 Faculty Innovations in Pedagogy and Teaching Fellow.

Student Ambassadors will serve as official representatives for The HistoryMakers Digital Archive on their respective campuses and will work to increase awareness, knowledge, and use of The HistoryMakers Digital Archive. Additionally, this summer, they will participate in an immersion program where they will work in teams learning how to use The HistoryMakers Digital Archive, do in-depth research, create a weekly blog, and develop a plan to promote The HistoryMakers Digital Archive. Student Ambassadors will also organize and mount an effective and engaging campus-wide 2023 Black History Month Digital Archive Contest.

Congratulations to the following 2022-2023 Student Ambassadors:
