The Urban League of Broward County is hosting its signature fundraising event, the Red Gala, on September 21, 2024, at the Broward County Convention Center. This year’s Varsity U Red Gala, presented by FPL, promises an unforgettable evening of awards, live entertainment, dinner, and a silent auction.

Honoring Local Leaders, The Red Gala recognizes local leaders who embody the Urban League’s mission to tackle poverty and empower underserved communities. This year’s honorees include: – Tangy Frederick, CEO of Cre8tive Devs Software, receiving the I Am Empowered Award for her trailblazing work in tech and mentorship. – Ted Christie, CEO of Spirit Airlines, receiving the Tripp Scott Diversity Champion Award for his visionary leadership and commitment to diversity. – Henry Graham, founder of Liberia Economic and Social Development, Inc., receiving the Margaret Roach Humanitarian Award for his dedication to empowering low-income residents in South Broward County. *Supporting a Great Cause* By attending the Red Gala, you’ll be supporting the Urban League’s efforts to address the unmet needs of over 14,000 children and adults in Broward County each year.

The event’s success relies on the generosity of businesses and organizations with a strong connection to the community. *Join the Divine Nine* The ladies of Zeta Phi Beta, Sorority, Incorporated, invite all members of the Divine Nine to join them for an evening of campus couture and community celebration. *Get Your Tickets Now!* Don’t miss out on the Varsity U Red Gala.
