Hi my name is Assata Bandy, I’m a freshman at Fort Lauderdale High School, in the Cambridge Program this upcoming school year. I have been selected to attend the Presidential Inaugural Conference in Washington, D.C. between Jan. 19 and Jan. 23, 2013.
Imagine if you had been given this opportunity for a life-changing experience when you were in school and were unable to participate for lack of funds. That is why I am writing to you today.
My participation in the conference depends on whether I can raise $3000 in sponsorships. The conference tuition is $3145 and my travel to the conference will about $800.
