Three people, including a local rapper, were killed and two others injured when a car slammed into the bedroom of a home in Miami, authorities said Wednesday. The fiery crash happened just after 5 a.m. in the area of Northeast 82nd Street and Third Avenue, according to Miami police. Video taken by TV news outlets show the car in a blaze, with firefighters working to extinguish the flames. The force of the collision ejected two people from the car and another person was “partially ejected,” said Miami police spokesman Officer Michael Vega. Two of them died at the scene and the other at Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center, according to Vega.

Police said those who died in the crash were Bayle Pricilla Bucceri, 23; Candido Miguel Barroso-Nodarse, 22; and Ernesto Enrique Carralero, 23. Carralero was also known as “ohtrapstar,” a local rapper with a decent-sized fan base. His SoundCloud profile, a website often used to promote music, said his discography consisted of over 100 tracks.

Another rapper, Lil Ominous, went to Instagram to share his sorrow over the loss of his friend. “I love you little bro,” he wrote. “I’m sorry i couldn’t be there for you . I’m so sad right now. You don’t deserve that.”

Two people from the home, who were in a bedroom, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, fire rescue confirmed. Police believe speed might have played a role in the crash.

Officers shut down Northeast 82nd Street from Fourth Avenue for hours following the incident, which took place just east of Interstate 95. The American Red Cross will assist the family who lives in the home. Additionally, crews from the city’s building department are working to determine whether it is still safe to inhabit.
