    Dear FAMU Alumni and Supporters,

I hope this letter finds you well and filled with the same pride and joy that we have experienced throughout this incredible football season. On behalf of FAMU Athletics, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support that played a pivotal role in making this year truly historic for FAMU Football.

The 2023 FAMU Football team, led by Head Coach Willie Simmons, has left an indelible mark on our university’s history, capping off a remarkable 12-1 season with a resounding victory in the 2023 Cricket Celebration Bowl. As a result, we proudly stand as the undisputed 2023 HBCU National Champions, a testament to the dedication and talent of our student-athletes, coaching staff, and the incredible support from our alumni and fans.

Your generous contributions have fueled our success, and we invite you to continue this journey with us by making a tax-deductible donation. To make the process enjoyable, we have created unique giving opportunities:

    1. $20 to celebrate FAMU Football’s second-longest home win streak in the country (20 consecutive wins at Bragg Memorial Stadium).
    2. $30 for each point scored in the Celebration Bowl.
    3. $45 to commemorate Coach Willie Simmons’ 45th Win at FAMU, the most by any FAMU Coach in the first 5 seasons.
    4. Donate the total of all three milestones ($95 or more) and be entered to win a custom FAMU Athletics-branded Yeti Cooler.

This tax-deductible donation must be made by December 31, 2023, to be entered in the raffle and to continue supporting the future success of FAMU Athletics.

As the Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, it is my vision for FAMU Athletics that every student-athlete graduates with a degree in one hand and a championship ring on the other. Your ongoing support is crucial in making this vision a reality. Together, we can empower our student-athletes to achieve both academic and athletic excellence.

Looking ahead, we are thrilled that we closed our 2023 season in Atlanta with a Celebration Bowl victory over Howard University. Moreover, we eagerly anticipate returning to Atlanta for the opening of the 2024 when we face Norfolk State University in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge on August 24, 2024.

Your commitment to FAMU Athletics has been instrumental, and we invite you to join us on this exciting journey towards continued success. Your generosity not only supports our athletes but also contributes to the legacy of excellence at FAMU.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to celebrating many more victories together in the future.
