    Angela Fulton has been named Regional Superintendent of Broward County Public Schools. Dr. Fulton brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Education Class 8 community in the Gold Coast region. Her leadership and dedication to education will undoubtedly enrich the community and benefit the students and educators she serves. In her new role, responsibilities include overseeing and managing a specific region within the district. Dr. Fulton will report directly to the Superintendent of Schools while playing a key role in implementing the district’s strategic plan, goals, and policies at the regional level. Other key responsibilities include but aren’t limited to the following:

    1.Provide leadership and support to principals, teachers, and staff in their region.

    2.Oversee the administration and operation of schools within their region.

    1. Develop and implement regional goals and objectives aligned with the district’s strategic plan.

    4.Manage regional budgets and resources.

    1. Build relationships with local community leaders, parents, and stakeholders.
    2. Ensure compliance with district policies, state and federal regulations.

    7.Collaborate with other regional superintendents and district leaders to share best practices and address common challenges.

    As Regional Superintendent Dr. Fulton will play a critical role in ensuring that schools within her assigned region provide high-quality education and support to students, and that the district’s initiatives and programs are effectively implemented at the local level.

    Dr. Fulton assumes her new position after having served as Director of School Performance & Accountability for the BPS, the 6th largest school district in America. A key West native and a Florida
 A&M University graduate,  she majored in elementary education and completed additional graduate work at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Fulton currently resides in Fort
 Lauderdale.
