Founded in 1975 as an affiliate of the National Urban League, the Urban League of Broward County is a community-driven organization committed to fostering opportunity and equality. We focus on six core areas: education, entrepreneurship, jobs, community justice, housing, and health.

    Our Mission

We are dedicated to enabling African Americans and historically underserved communities to achieve economic self-reliance, equity, and civil rights. Each year, we impact nearly 14,000 individuals through transformational programs that promote economic opportunity, stability, and social justice.
