The countdown for back to school is on! Broward County Public Schools start on Aug. 19
Parents and guardians are advised to prepare now for back to school immunizations.
BROWARD COUNTY, FL — The Florida Department of Health in Broward County will offer free immunizations for school age children during the month of August inside the Lauderhill Mall, located at 1299E NW 40th Avenue in the City of Lauderhill, FL.
FREE IMMUNIZATIONS will be offered on the following dates and times: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday – Aug. 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19 & 20 – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 8 & 15 – 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Community Resource Fair and Free Immunizations: Saturday, Aug. 17 – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Parents and guardians are advised to prepare early and get the required immunizations for their child/children before the school rush.
Florida requires certain vaccines to be administered before children may enroll and attend childcare and school.

In order to be vaccinated each child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parent or legal guardian should remember to bring the child’s immunization records.
