JUNO BEACH, FL — Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) announced 13 scholarships for students pursuing higher education or technical training, including three new workforce development scholarships introduced this year. The program underscores FPL’s deep commitment to supporting education, community investment and building a skilled workforce that will power Florida’s future.
The expanded offerings include three workforce development scholarships aimed at meeting the growing demand for skilled trades and technical professionals in Florida’s energy sector. Additionally, 10 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who have been involved in a SECME program and plan to pursue a STEM education.
Together, these scholarships create pathways to meaningful careers, supporting students at every stage of their educational journey while helping strengthen Florida’s future workforce.

Scholarship Opportunities:
10 SECME Scholarships — Available to high school seniors in FPL’s service area.
3 Workforce Development Scholarships — Available to students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited Florida college, university or technical school in FPL’s service territory.

Applications open April 27 and close May 25, 2026, at 3 p.m. EST.
