Wilson holds a Groundbreaking Ceremony for long overdue new Liberty City Health Clinic Congresswoman Wilson was joined by Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jean Monestime and representatives from the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County, recently at a groundbreaking ceremony for a new $12 million Liberty City Health Clinic on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at 2520 NW 75 St., Miami, Fla. “This is a win-win for the people of Liberty City who need and deserve access to quality, comprehensive healthcare. Once completed, the new health clinic will provide healthcare services for our underserved and most vulnerable residents,” said Congresswoman Wilson. As a State Senator, Congresswoman Wilson helped secure $2.5 million to begin construction on a new Liberty City Health Clinic to replace the aged and outdated Miami-Dade County Health Department’s Juanita Mann Clinic and the Jessie Trice Community Health Center which have been closed.
