A woman in South Korea is thought to be the mother of the two kids, whose remains were discovered in luggage in New Zealand earlier this month. Before obtaining New Zealand citizenship, the woman was a citizen of Korea. Earlier in August, New Zealand police opened a homicide investigation after a South Auckland family reported discovering human body parts in a number of goods they purchased from a storage facility via an online auction. The kids, who range in age from 5 to 10, may have been gone for a while. At this point in the investigation, New Zealand police are unable to confirm the information provided by South Korean officials.
