Tarneisha Peters has joined the Florida-based Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Black Business Investment Fund (BBIF) as Regional Director – West Florida. In her role she is responsible for developing BBIF’s West Florida region, building partner relationships with banks, foundations, and other not-for-profit organizations. She serves as the in-market lead, extending BBIF’s core service of providing loans and financial technical assistance services to a target of BIPOC and underserved small businesses and communities.
Democratic candidate for attorney general of Massachusetts Andrea Campbell won her primary election on Tuesday night in a victory that all but assured she would become the first Black person to serve in that role.
