The West Palm Beach Police Athletic League (PAL) has welcomed Katrina Long-Robinson as the new Chair of its Board of Directors. Long-Robinson comes to PAL with a long resume of civic-oriented roles and a family tie to the nonprofit organization. Her father-in-law and former West Palm Beach City Commissioner, the Honorable Isaac “Ike” Robinson, played a critical part in helping PAL secure its headquarters in downtown West Palm Beach.

Spring break: maybe it’s time for spring cleaning

     On Monday, Vice President Harris spoke at the Feeding Northeast Florida, a food pantry, stressing the need for the relief package to help poor families of which almost 50 million people rely on.

     The commission decided unanimously that the 8 p.m. curfew should run for the next three weekends and be enforced Thursdays through Sundays until at least April 12, which is the official end of spring break.

      The IRS has delayed the April 15 tax deadline until May 17 this year as the agency attempts to process both tax refunds and a third round of stimulus checks simultaneously.

Recently, Asian Americans have been receiving much hate due to the pandemic. Asian Americans received hate way before this virus, however, it became greater because of the coronavirus. Former President Donald Trump stated that at the start of the virus it was “the China virus,” which caused them to be blamed by many Americans.
