        Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County was proud to award $257,292 in scholarships to deserving high school graduates who are participants in their mentoring program at its third annual BIG Futures Scholars Celebration presented by Ana G. Mendez University.  BIG Futures is a college and career readiness initiative designed to equip youth for post-secondary success through career mentoring, education and access to key opportunities. 

 As Florida prepares for the 2025 hurricane season, the safety of our residents remains our top priority. The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) plays a vital role in this effort, with our dedicated High Water Response Task Force (HWRTF) standing ready to respond.

Their white supremacy ideology perpetuated the belief, grounded in idiocy, that white people were inherently superior to people of other racial backgrounds. They should, therefore, dominate them politically, economically, and socially.
