     And it reminds me of another sneak attack that may have caused lethal damage: FBI Director James Comey’s last-minute reopening of an investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private emails.

In December, Deputy Ty Shelton and another officer arrived at the home of 27-year-old Niani Finlayson who reported a domestic violence incident, noting that her boyfriend had abused her nine-year-old daughter.

     The Senate Education Appropriations Committee unanimously approved the bill (SB 62), which would require that people not lose resident status “solely by reason of incarceration in a state or federal correctional facility in this state.”

Contributing to The Westside Gazette, a historical newspaper deeply embedded in the community’s fabric, is an exhilarating and humbling experience. Since childhood, I’ve revered its pages, once even seeing my mother, Cynthia Robinson, celebrated for her remarkable community endeavors.

     Anthony Duclair Foundation held a groundbreaking event celebrating the coming of a synthetic hockey rink at Boyd Anderson High School.

In 2022 I was presented with the Centennial Leader Award by the National Parks Conservation Association for the difference I made connecting Americans to the national parks. That would not have happened if it wasn’t for The Westside Gazette which published the first story my husband Frank and I wrote about the parks and the environment in 1995.

     The joy and pain of serving as a good servant and keeper of record are inseparable, yet our commitment remains unwavering.

  Sister Annie M. Glover was born in Concord, Georgia on June 12, 1932  to parents Mrs. Emma Lizzie Milner ( Hassie ) and Mr. Marvin Manual, Sr.( Shorty), both of whom preceded her in death. Sister Glover married the love of her life,  Mr. Willie Glover, who also predeceased her. Born on June  12, 1932, Sister Glover received her Heavenly reward on February 4, 2024. Mrs. Glover was blessed with one child, Mr. Jimmie Reid (Sonya), Fort Lauderdale.
