      The “Official Snack Brand of Hip Hop” Rap Snacks, and one of the fastest-growing Consumer Packaged Goods (“CPG”) brands in the industry of food and beverage, hosted their 2nd annual 3-day Disrupt Summit from January 9 – 11, 2024 at the W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The “Disrupt Summit 2024: Where CPG Meets Culture,” brought together a community of CPG retailers, minority CEOs and executives in person to drive a broader strategic discussion around challenges and issues minorities face in the industry and equipped attendees with essential tools for staying competitive in today’s rapidly changing market.

     The Democratic Party, on the other hand, is asleep at the wheel.  When something goes wrong, they are purely reactionary and not very effective.  More importantly, when things are going well like most economic indicators in the United States, which signals effective leading of the country by President Biden, they are not good at promoting it.  It is allowed to be disseminated through normal media channels with no sense of urgency to the point where the average busy American will never see it.

     For those who are dismayed and disturbed by Israel’s disproportionate response to the Hamas atrocities on Oct. 7 last year, Oregon’s Senator Jeff Merkley and other progressive Senate Democrats are fighting their battle. They have been pushing for Senate action that would tie further US military aid to Israel on Israel’s adherence to international and US humanitarian law.

      Black women are the largest demographic in the Democratic Party, and they understand the importance of voting. Voting is a pledge of honor for Black women and their numbers are off the charts. On the other hand, Black men are the opposite and a large percentage think voting is a waste of time.

Fact-checking Trump’s claims about “Bidenomics” vs Trump’s record result in findings from “slightly exaggerated” to false, false, and more false. Campaigns are supposed to highlight candidates in their best lights, but not by lying. As we are learning from the civil case in New York, Trump’s routine practice is fraud and lies.

     Through being a community advocate, Delevoe became the president of Broward County Minority Builders, President of the Black Coalition of Broward County and was a member of HOPE. He was also one of the main organizers that brought peace to the community dissolving several conflicts during the riots in Fort Lauderdale. In 1968, Samuel Delevoe became a street minister and also focused more on entrepreneurship. Many young people looked to him for guidance and motivation. He also would help people who were going through rough times financially.
