    B-CU men’s hoop team poised for SWAC tournament

          Bethune-Cookman had its three-game win streak snapped in a 69-60 loss at Grambling State on March 4. B-CU previously beat Southern 67-61 two days earlier.

    The Wildcats will make the SWAC tournament. With a 10-7 conference mark, they are currently fifth in the standings. The top eight teams make the SWAC tournament.

    B-CU (15-15) closed out the regular season at rival Florida A&M (6-22, 4-14) on Saturday, March 9.

    The Wildcats have sophomore guard Zion Harmon (15.5 ppg, 4.1 apg, 1.8 spg); sophomore guard/forward Jakobi Heady (15.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.5 spg); senior guard Dhashon Dyson (13.8 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2 apg, 1.6 spg); senior forward/center Derrick Carter-Hollinger, Jr. (8.9 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 0.9 bpg); junior forward Reggie Ward, Jr. (9.7 ppg, 4.5 rpg); senior guard Damani McEntire (2.9 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 2.2 spg) and sophomore center Elijah Hulsewe (4.4 ppg, 4.2 rpg).
