BELLE GLADE, FL — The Belle Glade Branch Library, in collaboration with Community Partners, the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, and Florida Rural Legal Services, is offering the community a powerful opportunity to take control of their future. Throughout July, residents are invited to attend a series of free workshops focused on Elder Law and Heirs’ Property Rights, designed to help individuals—particularly seniors and their families—understand and secure their legal rights.
These sessions aim to provide critical knowledge on topics such as wills, power of attorney, health care directives, Lady Bird deeds, living wills, and estate planning—issues that deeply impact Black families and generational wealth.
