It’s never too late to turn your health around. Just ask Prempal Hundal, who was told in 2014 that he had pre-diabetes. He says the diagnosis was the wake-up call he needed to take control of his health – or face dire consequences when he was older.

         The North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners unanimously named Gino Santorio President/­­­CEO of Broward Health. Santorio assumes the role effective immediately.

The Black AIDS Institute, with support from Gilead Sciences, is excited to launch an Ambassador Program for Black women to build engagement and movement around HIV and sexual health for Black women

The Black AIDS Institute (BAI) has named Raniyah Copeland as its next President and Chief Executive Officer. Copeland will assume the role on January 1, 2019 Copeland began working at BAI in April of 2008 as the Training and Capacity Building Coordinator and currently serves as the Director of Programs.

     For this reason, Eli Lilly has launched Lilly Diabetes Solution Center and Helpline in the African American community to ensure people receive comprehensive treatment for diabetes. To spread the word on this effort, Lilly will launch this announcement with full page ads in African American news-papers across the country.
