The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., founded on November 17, 1911, at Howard University by Founders Oscar J. Cooper, Frank Coleman and Edgar A. Love along with faculty advisor Dr. Ernest E. Just, held its 84th Grand Conclave in Tampa, Florida, despite opposition from some members due to Governor Ron DeSantis’ racist agenda. The conclave, led by Grand Basileus Ricky Lawrence Lewis and his Supreme Council, aimed to confront discriminatory policies head-on. The event, dubbed “A Conclave with a Purpose,” featured various components, including:
