Florida Memorial University has been selected by Google, in partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), to participate in the Grow with Google’s (GwG) HBCU Career Readiness Program. This new initiative will embed HBCU student jobseeker resources into a select number of Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) career services centers, with the goal of helping 100,000 Black students gain digital skills needed to find and land entry level jobs and internships and to be successful in the workplace. The funds will support activities with the Intentional Readiness for Occupational Acquisition and Retention (iROAR) Program, and the FMU Career Development Center.
