The fact is there’s never been a more opportune moment for We Energies and other utility companies to make the switch to clean energy. The cost of solar power, which We Energies said would replace more than half of the coal-fired plant’s generated electricity, has fallen nearly 100 percent in the last decade. In its plans, the company acknowledged it would save $50 million in lower fuel and maintenance costs alone at Oak Creek.

Nationwide, there is an environmental justice disparity between White and African American citizens. What is the root cause? Air pollution from diesel in the transportation sector. School and city buses, trash trucks, 18-wheelers, and off-road construction vehicles, are among the many fluxes of emissions from the transportation sector. Studies show, 60% of California’s, 52% of DC’s and 20% of New York State’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are from diesel combustion engines.
Hamas claims the attacks in the Gaza Strip are in response to denial of access to the holy site known as the Aqsa Mosque to Palestinians and the Israelis as the Temple Mount. But it’s far more than that: It’s about the Occupation, and Israel’s blockade of Gaza for the last 16 years.
Humanity’s cancer shows up in Israel and Palestine. Missiles fly, hell makes global headlines, thousands of people die, many of them (oh God, of course) children.
Why War?
I am writing to underscore the profound importance of Black Newspapers in the United States and their enduring impact on our society. As we continue to celebrate who we are as a people, we have to reflect on the pivotal role Black Americans have played in shaping our nation, it is imperative that we recognize the invaluable contributions of Black newspapers in preserving our history, amplifying diverse voices, and advocating for justice and equality.
In 2021, there were 690 mass killings and in 2022 there were 645 mass killings according to the mass killing Archive. At the present time in America, there are 533 mass killing and there is an epidemic, and no one has a solution. There are more guns than people and cars.
America has struggled with an immigration problem for more than a Century. Regrettably, this problem is due to the federal government’s refusal to pass a new comprehensive immigration policy, failure to fully enforce the existing policy and refusing to correctly label the problem. A cursory review of this problem suggests that it is impossible to draft a policy in the absence of correctly labeling the problem. America’s borders are facing a strategic overrun by asylum seekers, migrants, refugees, and immigrants armed with their dire needs.
