CHILDREN’S DIAGNOSTIC & TREATMENT CENTER Hosts Valentine’s Experience For The Love Of Charity

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (January 7, 2021) – Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC) is sharing a Valentine’s experience reimagined for the pandemic in a new semi-virtual For the Love of Charity from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 12.

In a kick-off to Valentine’s Day weekend, For the Love of Charity is for couples and friends to celebrate love and togetherness while raising much-needed funds for CDTC.

There are two ways to enjoy the evening. Anyone who wants to attend in person can do so with a pop-up happy hour picnic under the stars on the rooftop deck of the Las Olas Parking Complex. Reserved spaces, more than six feet apart, will include a special valentine blanket, charcuterie box, and wine and to be enjoyed while listening to live music.

For those opting to stay home, guests can reserve a dinner package from Chef Lenore Nolan Ryan that will be delivered to their home.  “We are looking forward to celebrating love and the joy of giving during this very special occasion,” says CDTC Executive Director Ana Calderon Randazzo, Ph.D. “We’ve adapted our evening to ensure everyone can take part while safeguarding their health and ensuring appropriate social distancing in February.”

Packages are limited and begin at $120 for two guests, which includes entry in the evening’s luxury raffle. Reservations are required by February 5. All proceeds benefit the children and families at the non-profit CDTC which serves nearly 11,000 clients annually and promotes the optimal health and well-being of children with special healthcare needs by providing comprehensive prevention, intervention and treatment services.

For the Love of Charity is supported by Kamper’s Kitchen, Lenore Nolan Ryan World Class Catering and Breakthru Beverage.
