    From Carlos Flores

DFYIT/ SoBe Sober is proud to announce that Gian-Carlo Acevedo is the Grand Prize winner of this year’s SoBe Sober Broward Art Contest! The art work, will be featured in this year’s SoBe Sober Prevention Advertising campaign in Broward as a full back overlay on Broward County Transit buses.

We are also pleased to announce Steven Kane, as the 1st Runner Up. They are both members of Dillard’s Class of 2012!

Gian Carlo, Steven and their teacher, Stacey Jenkins, were recognized at this year’s Annual Youth Empowerment & Awards Luncheon. All three will be honored and receive cash prizes.

DFYIT thanks Ms. Jenkins for helping to empower her students to spread the message on the dangers of underage drinking.
