    Cooper City native named Sailor of the Quarter serving at Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Unit

            MILLINGTON, TENN. – Petty Officer 2nd Class Luke O’Malley, a native of Cooper City, Florida, was recently named Sailor of the Quarter (SOQ), fourth quarter, serving at U.S. Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Unit (NMRTU) Bahrain.

    The SOQ program recognizes Navy personnel, E-6 and below acting as role models of Navy professionalism and personal dedication.

    O’Malley, a 2017 graduate of Cooper City High School, joined the Navy four years ago.

    “I joined the Navy to serve in the greatest fighting force the world has ever seen alongside people who share the core values of honor, courage and commitment,” said O’Malley.
