Dear Community,
My name is De’Metra Mathis. I am a 16-year-old student who currently attends Mavericks High School of Central Broward. I am an outgoing young lady whose interests include praise dancing at my church, 15th Avenue Church of God, volunteering at Jack and Jill Day Care and running track at Dillard High School. I am also a member of my church’s youth group.
I will be graduating with Dillard High School’s Class of 2014. After graduation, I would like to continue my studies, majoring in cardiovascular surgery. I am the fourth child of Ms. Patricia Barry and Mr. Joe Mathis.
Recently, I received my acceptance letter to take part in the 2012 Miss Teen West Palm Beach/Fort Lauderdale Pageant that will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. I am looking for sponsors to assist me with achieving this dream. The cost of sponsorship is $500.
