    Nonprofit holds Launch Gala

          Dreamcatchers for the Soul Foundation, Inc. launch will be held on February 22, 2013, featuring live music, dance, performance and Poetry at Gilda’s Club of South Florida 119 Rose Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

         Dreamcatchers for the Soul will be officially launching their nonprofit organization with the performances of some of south Florida most talented children as well as Jazz Musician Kim J.

         Their MISSION is to empower, motivate, educate and inspire “at risk” youths and young adults and to help them exemplify excellence in all areas of their lives. DREAMCATCHERS will also provide an environment where youth/young adults will become aware of their innate abilities and talents through education, arts and counseling services.

         “Collectively we provide our youth the opportunity to be exposed to all ethnic and cultural backgrounds, to share their gifts and talents and to invite them to exemplify excellence in all that they do in life….Our purpose is to make a difference one child at a time,” said Founder Pamella Reid.

         They are in the process of becoming a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit organization to provide children a safe space where they can become empowered, inspired, help build self-esteem and confront their fears. Some of the programs we will offer are spiritual counseling, Mind/Body which includes Yoga and meditation, Education: Science, Math, Technology, Mentoring, literacy, Parenting Education, Creative Arts, College Preparation and job placements.

         The event starts at 7 pm and is free, so come meet the directors, learn more about the program and join us as we transform the lives and ignite the souls of our children, one child at time.
