    The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, recently demonstrated its commitment to supporting its senior citizens by hosting a senior resource fair. The event, organized by #TeamFTL, brought together a wealth of information and resources under one roof, providing a valuable one-stop shop for seniors and their families. The fair- a one-stop shop for access to:

    The fair offered access to essential services and programs, including retirement planning, senior meal programs, end-of-life planning, and social, housing, and health services. This comprehensive approach aimed to address the diverse needs of seniors in the community.

    In attendance were notable figures such as Mayor Dean Trantalis and Commissioner Pam Beasley-Pittman, who showed their support for the initiative. The YMCA of South Florida also participated in the event, highlighting their involvement in supporting local seniors.

     

    Although the fair has passed, the city promises more events are on the horizon. Seniors and their loved ones are encouraged to stay tuned for upcoming opportunities to connect with valuable resources and services.
