    Fort Lauderdale Native participates in Weapons Familiarization Training Aboard USS Harpers Ferry

    Chief Gunner’s Mate Nick Green, assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), and a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, teaches handling and firing techniques for the M9 pistol during weapons familiarization training while underway in the Pacific Ocean, April 2, 2024. Harpers Ferry is currently underway conducting routine operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet with elements of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
