Frankie “Red Wordz”: Welcome to R.A.P.’S First Studio Produced Album

For as long as I can remember, people have always referred to me as an energetic human being that always exudes positive; radiant energy to those around her. Today, you may find bio searches that read “Frankie Red is a motivational, exciting entertainer with a passion for People, Places, & Things.” And NOW for the FIRST TIME EVER in my career as a Spoken Word Poet & Musical Creative, I’ll be releasing my very FIRST ever Studio Produced Album and Book titled “R.A.P (Rhythm And Poetry)”.

As I embark on this new journey as a Published Author, Recording Artist, Co-Producer, and LEAD Band Singer— I INVITE YOU on June 10th at 9 p.m., in one of Sunrise, Florida’s most precious and hidden gems: Gigi’s Music Cafe— into my world of writing, creating, & expressing as I bring you LIVE renditions with my amazing band “The Tribe” from Lakeworth, FL of my FIRST studio produced album. Welcome to R.A.P (Rhythm And Poetry)….The Official Vol. 1 Studio Album, Lyric Book & Interactive Journal Birthday Release Experience.

My first Studio Album is a collection of Popular Red Wordz Poems and 1-Take Booth Freestyles to intricate beats and sounds ranging from acoustic guitar, to flutes, to more traditional Hip-Hop beats; produced by Broward-Native Producer and Sound Engineer Carl Marzouca. The project was inspired by the merge of 2 art forms: lyrics over music, that birthed the Father of Hip-Hop known as “Rap”- Rhythm And Poetry.

So if you’ve never heard of me outside of being a new staff writer for this amazing publication, then allow me to introduce myself. Hi there! My name is Frankie “Red Wordz” Rosso. I am a National Award-Winning Media Personality, Creative Curator, Poet-Author, & Educator. My message is to promote self-confidence and empowerment through intellectual entertainment, interactive educational workshops, and the arts. My brand caters to a wide variety of audiences, ranging from women who suffer from body imaging dysmorphia, to aspiring creative entrepreneurs, to adolescent young writers, to even millennials.

I am also a Creative Writing and Spoken Word Teacher through my program Barz4Bars— a Positivity Pays Foundation extracurricular program dedicated to helping inner-city and at-risk youth, utilize poetry and storytelling as a creative outlet to express their experiences and adversities. My messages of self-love; free expressionism; confidence, & body positivity; have blessed me with the opportunity to serve as a collaborative partner and represent an array of brands ranging from fashion and pop culture, to social activism and education.

So in a nutshell, I am a Creative Entrepreneur and Curator with a passion for people, the stage, and bright lights. To be able to command a room, dive deeper into someone’s story, create

innovative content, make someone laugh, and educate all in one body is quite the challenge. I always joke and say “If Oprah and Ellen made a Baby, it’d be me!” Meaning, though artistically

and creatively driven through music, poetry, and the arts— my true passion still lies within being a spokesperson of sorts. That is why I embrace all parts of me. I don’t allow the journalist in me to shut out my other passions or talents— I embrace them all. (Which is both a gift and a curse if I may add.)

I began writing in my early stages as a child in Barbie Journals and Diaries, as young as 6 years old. I began writing poems in 5th grade, where I recited my very first poem on the morning announcements. I still remember the title till this day “Don’t Smoke”, as a part of Drug Free Red Ribbon Week.

Throughout my childhood and teens, my parents always supported my multiple creative endeavors ranging from media, to dancing, to acting, to modeling, to singing, to even becoming

the First Female Trumpet Soloist in my middle school Jazz & Symphonic Band, as young as 13 years old.

With much love for various arts including writing and hosting parties as a teen, I decided to pursue my degree in Broadcast Journalism. A career where I can embrace both my inquisitive nature and creativity.

Before becoming a Full-Time Poet and Entertainer, I had my fair taste at Public Policy, Higher Education, and Corporate America. After working and graduating from Broward with my A.A. In Radio & Tv Broadcasting for 2.5 years, I decided to trade my Bachelors Degree at Florida International University for a life changing career in the legislature and dropped out of Journalism school.

By age 20, I served as Press Secretary to a State Representative for 4.5 years servicing a constituency of over 100,000 residents of the 101st District of Florida. By age 24, I was the youngest Diversity and Inclusion Director for a Fortune 500 Company Construction

Management Firm; managing subcontracts combined worth over 80.4 Million dollars.

Though I was successful and a great asset in my careers and enjoyed my line of work in serving both constituents and marginalized groups in the trade space, I knew creating was my destiny. I loved serving and advocating for the people, but my heart always lied in creativity. I knew I wanted to break barriers through spoken word and entertainment and decided to take a leap of faith in 2016 into becoming a part-time performer.

Because I took my leap as I continued to work for the Florida House, I knew I’d be risking my career and reputation as a community leader through my thought-provoking and sensational lyrics about politics and world issues. And though many tried to silence my freedom of expression, I knew my voice couldn’t be muted and began to “whistleblow” in my controversial

poetic content.

After leaving the legislature, having a drastic career change into Construction Management, and gracing mics for 2 years, stages and inspiring audiences began to REQUEST my truth. Both

LIVE and to take home. But what’s a poet to do with no recordings?

It was then, I decided it was time to become a FULL-TIME creative entrepreneur. And in 2018, I decided my moment to create was NOW! Since then, I have been fortunate enough to have founded and created various brands encompassing my passions in beauty, the arts,

entertainment and media.

It’s crazy to think that in 2016 is when I developed “Red Wordz”, my poetic alter ego and spoken word brand, where I bring my pages and Freestyle poetry about my personal life, tribulations, and the world around us— to diverse audiences. What began as a hobby and pass time, has now manifested itself to be something greater- a creative curation brand with Redvolution Media, a Media Persona brand RedL!ghTv, a dance brand with “Red Dance”, a Beauty Brand with Besos By Red, and now an Album and Book brand with R.A.P (Rhythm & Poetry)!

This moment has been a long time coming! I started working on this Masterpiece in 2019 & I’ve previewed bits and pieces of it across South Florida, New York, California, & Atlanta. But not anymore…now I’m bringing YOUR favorite POEMS through YOUR SPEAKERS & YOUR OWN PAGES!!

If you’re a fan of great music, spoken word, and poetry— then I implore you to come and

celebrate with me for my birthday this year. I invite YOU to come and enjoy R.A.P.- My First
