For the first time this season, an HBCU football team will wear jerseys with a sponsorship patch on the sleeves.
Alabama A&M University announced Friday the school has secured a $250,000 sponsorship by San Diego-based tech services firm Omni2Max.
The announcement featured a social media video with AAMU athletic director Dr. Paul Bryant and Omni2Max Business Development Manager ShaVonne Cammack, an Alabama A&M alumna.

This agreement reflects the innovative direction of our athletics department and the tremendous value of the Alabama A&M brand. The Bulldog football team will debut their new uniforms Saturday Aug. 29 against Howard in the annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge at CenterParc Stadium in Atlanta.
