Leja Williams, Second Year Pharmacy Student at FAMU

Leja Williams

Leja Williams is a second year Pharmacy student at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University  (FAMU). In her brief but ascending educational career, she achieved her second Honor Society membership, Phi Sigma Theta, following her initial honor society induction in Alpha Lambda Delta in May 2023. There appears to be no ceiling academically for Leja in her pursuit of a pharmaceutical degree from FAMU in Tallahassee. She states of her accomplishments.

“I have enjoyed the hard work it has taken thus far to pursue my goals of becoming a pharmacist. By choosing to further my education I believe being a pharmacy student will be one of the essential tools needed for me to achieve my career goals. The rigorous pharmacy curriculum will educate me and provide new information about how to become an efficient pharmacy.”

Being a pre-pharmacy student has taught me how to strive for excellence in my classes and in other day- to-day activities.

Hopefully, because of what I have learned throughout the years, patients will trust and believe that I can provide them with valid information that will better their health. With a positive attitude, hard work, and a great education, I know my vision of being a successful pharmacist can one day become reality.

All things considered; I have enjoyed the hard work it has taken thus far to pursue my goals of becoming a pharmacist.”

Her proud mother stated of her erudite, ambitious daughter, “As a mom I am so proud of her. She never ceases to amaze me. Words can’t express how I feel.”

Congratulations LEJA. She also is a Student writer for The Westside Gazette Newspaper.
