    From Lionel Brighthorne “Good morning Mr. Henry, it has been brought to my attention that one of the best fatherhood program in South Florida and possibility the state has systematically phased out two of its African Americans (Samuel Brown & Kervin Hussain) core workers with one of its founding African American members resigning. The latest termination of its most successful worker Samuel Brown who served as the main recruiter for the Healthy Mother Healthy Babies Fatherhood Program; is a slap in the face to the Sistrunk Community, considering he’s one of the main reasons HMHB fatherhood program experienced 11 graduations of men who volunteered their time to attend & complete 12 weeks of fatherhood training. This program have seen significant growth under the leadership of these individuals; and the Sistrunk and surrounding commities are owed an explanation for the removal of some of HMHB fatherhood program’s pioneering African American members…The HMHB Fatherhood program was built on the premise of its founding members identifying the needs of the community and collaborating with prominent individuals from the community to build and implement a Fatherhood successful program with the 33311 zip successfully graduating 34 fathers on the first graduation which was held in Joseph C Carter Park. Park gym. HMHB Fatherhood Program was establish under the” Leaderships of former Program Manager Cynthia Holmes & Kathy Dunbar former Executive Director of HMHB…
