Radio Legends hold Super Soul Reunion — Do you remember the days when Black Radio was all about having fun? Those were the days when “The Godfather of Soul” James Brown told the world that we were Black and Proud and the Jackson Five thrilled everybody both young and old and The “Tempting Temptations” belted out hit after hit after hit! If you grew up in South Florida during the 1960’s & 70’s then you will never forget all the DJ’s who put the “OOWEE” in entertainment. Radio Station WRBD aka “Rockin’ Big Daddy Radio” and WCKO were among the biggest stations across the nation. Some of those fantastic DJ’s got together for a reunion hosted by one of South Florida’s radio living legends, Jerry Rushin. The reunion celebrated those golden voices heard on the airways in radio from (1969-1985).
