America’s democracy is under siege from both foreign and domestic enemies. But astonishingly, the greatest threat comes from within. This startling fact is evidenced by the Republican Party’s continued embrace of a narcissistic egomaniac, who un-fortunately became the 45th president. Trump and the Republican Party’s lust for power have resulted with them adopting a cynical plot rooted in racism, imbued with ignorance, and enthralled with lunacy.

Trump also used a cynical plan developed by Harvey “Lee” Atwater to gain political power and ultimately the presidency. In other words, he ignited within a segment of America the sweltering flames of white supremacy fueled by racism, ignorance, and normalized lunacy. Even though he received over 75 million votes, he deservedly lost the 2020 election.

The cynical plot began long before Trump was booted out of office. It began with his deceitful attempt to co-opt the military by smothering them with praise and bragging how he increased their budget to well over $750 billion. One would have thought he used his personal money and not taxpayers.

Further, in order to test his control over the military, he staged a photo-opt in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church with Cabinet Members and General Mark Milley. Once General Milley realized he had been used, he quickly apologized for having fallen prey to Trump’s scheme.

Trump’s devious plot to win reelection also included an attempt to coerce the Ukraine President to launch an unwarranted investigation against Joe Biden, who is the newly elected president. Remember, Trump was impeached for his abuse of power tactics.

But this didn’t stop Trump’s crazed desire to remain president even though he lost the 2020, Presidential election by well over seven million votes. As a last-ditch effort to stop the final transfer of power to Joe Biden, America’s 46th president, Trump incited an insurrection on the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021. This day will surely be labeled a day of infamy in America. Also, another blow to America’s image was dealt because it marked the first time that a sitting president was impeached twice during a single term.

America, as a Republic, allows its voters to oust an unfit president and to elect a new president. The once powerful Republican controlled Senate learned that it can’t shield an unfit president from voters.

The new brand of Republicanism, a cynical plot, remains undeterred and determined to regain the presidency, the Senate and the House by any means necessary. It’s clear that the 2nd Amendment is sacred to them, while the 15th Amendment is merely words inscribed in the Constitution, which they must loathed rather than honor.

Republicans must be taught that their cynical plot won’t enable them to erect barriers high enough or create laws stringent enough to stymie voters’ rights to vote, especially Black voters!

In fact, the Republican party’s cynical plot may very well determine their fate as an entity of America’s two-party system of government. Undoubtedly, Republican men and women have abandoned their moral compass as well as their oaths to the Constitution. Rather, they’ve replaced them with Jim Crow tactics, white supremacy ideology and alternative facts.

Cable media corporations and their mega star anchors should heed their culpability for broad casting Republicanism cynical plot to dismantle America’s Republic. Trump’s defeat wasn’t because the elections was rife with fraud. And, the January 6, 2021, insurrection was executed by patriots.

President Joe Biden won because he received a majority of the popular vote and 306 of the total 538 electoral votes.

America’s democracy is under siege from both foreign and domestic enemies. But astonishingly and enthralled with lunacy. imbued with ignorance the greatest threat comes from within.
