    With Rep. Christopher Benjamin, D-Miami Gardens, running for a judgeship next year, the field to replace him in the House has grown to seven candidates. Miami Democrat Stanley Yves Jean-Poix opened a campaign account Friday to run in Miami-Dade County’s House District 107, according to the state Division of Elections website. Other candidates with open accounts are Democrats Monique Barley-Mayo, Wancito Francius, Gordon Eric Knowles, Pierre Prime and Christine Sanon-Jules Olivo and Republican DeMarco Byrdsong. Benjamin is running to become a Miami-Dade County judge.
