SEVENTH District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. held its 78th Annual District Meeting — On April 9-12, 2015, the Seventh District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. held its 78th Annual District Meeting in Mobile, Alabama. The 7th District, composed of the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi, is the largest in the fraternity. The Eta Nu Chapter, Pompano Beach, led by Basileus Moses Barnes, was well represented by a contingent of over 31 registered members. The following brothers were presented awards heralding their years of service – financial, commitment to the cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift, and honoring the sacred oath that they swore to upon being initiated into this highly esteemed, august body known worldwide as the O-mega Psi Phi Fraternity: Brothers Willie Bouyie, Lennox George, and Calvin Lamar – 40 years of service – and Brothers Robert Bailey and Samuel Clear – 50 years of service.
