My Tribute to My Beautiful Little Big Sister

     In my reflecting on the first 3 days of my sister Betty’s life when I was only 8-years old, she actually tried to talk  me into using  syllables in her voice after I placed her on her back in her crib. I immediately ran down stairs and said to my mother, that baby “Betty” was going to be famous and known all over the world.  Moving forward as Betty got older, we started to practice with her singing while I played the guitar in the washhouse in the Liberty Square Housing Development.
