Broward Education Foundation (BEF), in proud partnership with Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) and Bridge2Life, has been awarded a transformative $1.1 million grant from Helios Education Foundation to support Postsecondary Success for All — a bold initiative designed to strengthen post-secondary readiness and access to college and career pathways for more than 24,000 students annually in grades six through 12.

Broward County’s Bridge 2 Life (B2L), a nonprofit operating under the Broward Education Foundation, welcomed national, state, and local leaders for a milestone event as one of only a handful of organizations nationwide—and the only one in Florida—selected to participate in the 2026–2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) beta test made possible by the generous support from the Helios Education Foundation.

Broward Education Foundation, the sole nonprofit benefitting Broward County Public Schools, joined forces with Florida Power & Light Company during its Power to Care volunteer week, where volunteers read a book to students and helped beautify the front entrance area at Watkins Elementary School in Pembroke Park. The event empowered young readers and sparked their curiosity for learning.
