Browsing: Trails In The Sand by Peter Traceit

To the loyal followers of Peter Traceit, the Street Detective will be missing in action for a while, enjoying a much-needed rest and vacation too much sand in the lungs, too much dirt under the fingernails. Now it’s time to take a much-needed rest. Looking forward to dragging through the sands real soon. See you soon with shovel in hand.

Rumor has it that some of the Board members are not playing by the rules and are setting up their own meet the candidate forums that fall outside of the search firm and their in-house employment guidelines for the position.

It would seem that Dr. Oz would do good if she would let this seat go to Carter Lynch or whomever wants to really  represent the people of this district.  A blind bat can see that Oz just can’t give up on the power she once had on the local school board politics. If not, she would be better suited to run for her district five school board seat, as it is where Pete is told she spends the most of her time. Word on these dirty streets is Oz is using every ounce of connection she has to influence the outcome of the superintendent election. And Ol Pete is hearing that it isn’t who she wants, but more who she doesn’t want that has her hair on fire.  Ol Traceit is scratching and wondering about the Black on Black and Woman or Woman violence swirling in the sand.

Anna Fusco of the Broward Teacher’s Union was seen climbing a tall fence where she straddled at the microphone… not being clear on her position of support for the Super Cartwright. Ol’ Peter is being told that Fusco is not really happy with Cartwright because while she thought she was playing Cartwright, she has recently learned that The Super has been playing her like a fiddle.

Duty calls and Ol’ Peter Traceit, the Street Detective is hitting the sands hard. It appears that someone is out to do some serious damage to Ruth Carter-Lynch, a district five candidate for Broward School Board. Two flyers have gone out accusing Carter-Lynch of being a lobbyist for private schools and accusing her of being unaccountable to taxpayers, having lower academic standards, having lower standards for teachers, and discriminating against minorities and LGBTQ+ students. They are only targeting the Black community, the 33311.
