    The 17th Judicial Circuit’s Judge Elijah H. Williams took the stage at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on 1/7/25 and swore Broward’s newly elected Tax Collector Abbey Ajayi into office amid pomp and circumstance. Ms. Ajayi is the first ever elected Tax Collector in Broward County! Congratulations!

    County Court Judge Jackie Powell administered the Oath of Office to the 2025 President and Board of Directors of the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce during a special ceremony on January 23, 2025. Judge Powell regularly mentors students, visits schools, and is involved in a wide range of community outreach throughout the year.
