The 2012 Florida Blue Florida Classic ended in dramatic fashion as the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats defeated the FAMU Rattlers, 21-16 before a Florida Citrus Bowl crowd of 32,317. The Wildcats (9-2 overall, 8-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) had already clinched the conference championship and a berth in the Football Championship Subdivision play-offs
