The Panthers 100 Club

Sheriff Gregory Tony presents a $10,000 check to President Bruce McGraw on behalf of The Panthers 100 Club

The Panthers 100 Club, the official booster organization for all things Dillard, especially athletics, is setting the pace for innovative and effective ways of supporting the student/athletes, faculty and staff and administration of Dillard High School.

On Wednesday, September 27, President Bruce McGraw accepted a $10,000 check from Sheriff Gregory Toney on behalf of the Panthers 100 Club. Additionally, the organization is sponsoring a fan bus on October 21, to  Edward Waters University, Jacksonville, where 1996 Dillard High graduate Toriano Morgan serves as head football coach. Coach Morgan and his Tigers will face the Golden Rams of  Albany State coached by FAMU Hall of Famer Quinn Gray, also Dillard High grad, 1997.

Two competing HBCUS from the same conference, the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference/SIAC, with head coaches from Dillard High School separated by only one year – more than likely teammates, makes for a compelling game. Information about game and fan bus is detailed on the accompanying flyer.

However, the Panthers 100 Club didn’t stop there, though, if they had, no would complain.

In recognition of and appreciation for the dedicated Dillard faculty and administration, the Panther 100 Club presented  $100 gift cards on  September 28 to 6 teachers and the Principal for going over and above for the students at Dillard High School.
