It’s a night of classic R&B and soul when the Broward Center for the Performing Arts presents The Whispers and Stephanie Mills on Friday, October 4.

With more than 50 years of R&B and pop favorites spanning more than three dozen albums, The Whispers have created generations of fans with the classic hits “Rock Steady,” “Keep on Loving Me” and “And the Beat Goes On.”

In addition to receiving numerous Grammy®, American Music and Soul Train Award nominations, the iconic group has been in-ducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame and The SoulMusic Hall of Fame

Stephanie Mills rose to fame as “the little girl with the big voice” starring on Broadway in The Wiz and has gone on to have ten Billboard No.1 singles from her many best-selling albums.

She once again brings her ultra-soulful sounds and captivating onstage energy to such hits as “Home,” “The Power of Love” and “What You Gonna Do With My Loving.”

Of a recent concert, the St. Louis American raved, “She looked great. She sounded even better…She was happy to show off that she still has the voice and the moves that made her a star.”

These great artists deliver one unforgettable evening that will have audiences dancing in the aisles.

Tickets are $47.50-$125 with $137.50 tickets for the JetBlue Flight Deck on the Club Level and are available online at BrowardCenter.org and Ticketmaster.com; by phone at 954.462.0222; and at the Broward Center’s AutoNation Box Office.
