190522-N-DS741-0314 ARABIAN SEA –Aviation Machinist’s Mate 1st  Class David Burke, from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., assigned to the air department aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55), washes an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Grandmasters” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 46 after flight operations.  Leyte Gulf is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet areas of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
