    With Thanksgiving just around the corner, there has never been a better time to give back to our local community. On Nov. 17, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) teamed up with Joshua’s Heart Foundation to ensure that families in Miami-Dade County have a great Thanksgiving and a warm meal on their tables.

    Volunteers packed and distributed more than 500 meal bags, complete with turkeys and meal fixings, to Miami-Dade County families and community members in need.

    On November 17, 2022 Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) volunteer Senior Sales Consultant Francisco Cantero loads meal bags into a recipient’s car in Miami-Dade County. The meal bags, sponsored by FPL in partnership with Joshua’s Heart Foundation, include turkey and meal fixings that will let families in need put a warm meal on their table this Thanksgiving.
