    Style, Struggle, and Success:

    By Odari Gervais

Underground style and ATL style clothing mean a lot to some of us young people,  because they help us express who we are, where we from what we often stand for. Even though I’m not from Atlanta, ATL style still inspires me because of the confidence, discipline, and mindset behind it.

Being from Florida plays a big role in my style because the culture and heat teach you to stay cool, creative, and comfortable while still looking clean. Underground fashion is about being original, wearing oversized hoodies, graphic tees, stacked jeans, and sneakers that make a statement, even if everyone else doesn’t understand it.

ATL style inspires me through creators like Quan and Who Casper, who don’t just dress well they vlog about their real lives and share morals that motivate not only youth, but anyone watching. They show they came from struggle and stayed focused, proving that your background doesn’t define your future. One thing that really stands out is how they prove you don’t need a lot of money to look good you just need to know how to style what you have and wear it with confidence.

Seeing how Quan made over 100,000 at just 19 shows me that age doesn’t limit success, and that hard work, consistency, and belief in yourself can pay off early. The way I dress represents Florida, my mindset, and my goals, reminding me that no matter where you start, you can build something greater through effort and self-belief.
